We're delighted to announce that Shona Fenion will conduct the North Downs Community Orchestra.

Shona Fenion read music at Homerton College, Cambridge, after training at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire for seven years. She has worked in music for the last ten years as a teacher, performer and facilitator. Shona currently performs as a freelance violinist in the London area, as well as teaching privately and working part-time for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Shona is organist and choral director for St Luke's, Whyteleafe, and also plays piano and harp as well as writing the occasional fugue. Having studied choral conducting at Cambridge, Shona currently conducts St Mary's school orchestra as well as St Luke's choir. "I look forward to working with the North Downs Community Orchestra at this exciting time."
Pete Matthews, one of the founders of the Orchestra, "We're absolutely over the moon to have Shona join us and Conduct the Orchestra. Shona brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and abilities and is a fun positive person and that's just what we want. With Shona at the baton I'm convinced everyone who joins the Orchestra will play to the best of their abilities and have a lot of fun".
