Wednesday, 21st June was Make Music Day UK.
It was also our contribution to this year's Caterham Festival. Probably even more memorable is the fact that, at 34 degrees C, it was declared to have been the warmest June day in the UK since the summer of 1976!
Our beautiful venue, Caterham United Reformed Church, even provided a little relative coolness below its lofty pitched ceiling, along with super acoustics and comfortable seating for our audience. We much appreciate the kindness shown to us by the members of the URC and the support of the Caterham Festival team.
We were joined by our inspiring patron, Rainer Hersch, plus his viola, and Margaret Watson with her beautiful golden harp. We are most grateful for their involvement on Make Music Day UK.
